Alba Uribe Berrio is a Colombian-born entrepreneur, personal brand strategist, and styling coach. She is the founder of AU Styling coaching, in Dallas, Texas. A dedicated life and style coach, Alba helps her clients create their lives from the inside out.
She believes that true style is not simply matching colors and selecting clothing. Rather it springs from who we are on the inside. By connecting clients to their own inner wellspring of truth and vision, she helps them to make their dreams a reality.
More than simply positive thinking, Alba guides people into becoming the best version of themselves through a combination of mindset and thoughtful action. Alba herself learned the value of painstaking personal development, hard work and enduring vision throughout her formative years in Colombia; her personal story is one in which she faced and overcame many hardships.
After studying psychology at the University of San Buenaventura in Medellin Colombia, Alba got married an moved to Chile where her daughter was born. IN 1998 she decided to move herself and her daughter to the United States to pursue a better life. Alba relocated initially in New York and then moved to North Dallas, Texas and went on to a degree in International Business from Richland College. (She later become a member of the staff of the college.)
Always passionate about helping others, Alba personally developed and ran several programs including Computers for the Hispanic Speakers at Richland Community College. Also, at the Meed Center volunteer, Alba was a volunteer coordinator from 2007 through 2010. At the same time, she helped to found and build one of the largest and most successful roofing companies in North Dallas.
Alba’s mission is to inspire people to live their best possible lives, no matter what their original outward circumstances. She believes that everyone has the power to change the world for the better, by melding their passions with action.
